What do people think when they hear your name?
Do they focus on your accomplishments or achievements?
Do they mostly remember your past failures or mistakes?
Do they recall your character or approach to life?
Early in life, worldly or secular distinctions may be weightier, but later in life, what matters more is what has lasting or eternal value.
Building a life testimony or legacy with an eternal perspective has become the preeminent center of my life.
As a Christ follower, I hope that my life is defined and marked by the way, the truth, and the life of Jesus Christ.
When others hear my name, my hope is that they will consider that:
I choose the way of life defined by the character of Jesus Christ.
The truth of my life is rooted and grounded in Jesus Christ, who is the truth of God’s Word.
The life I live is my gift back to God for His Glory for all of my days.
“Jesus said…., ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life…..’ ” (John 14:6, ESV)
